Description
From afar this is an illustration of the Death’s-Head Hawkmoth, but upon closer inspection it reveals something far more sinister.
This moth is carrying a scene of war on its wings and body. A gas mask replaces the skull. The inner wings depict scenes of desolation after the start of a nuclear winter.
The left outer wing shows a mushroom cloud scattering bones throughout. The right wing shows a rearing horse in the midst of a chemical explosion.
Underneath the smoke cloud a city stands in ruins.
