The design of the corset, or Corps Piqué, has intricate floral lace patterns surrounded by silky material. At the top of the bodice, a soft voile cloth is precariously stacked. At the centre there is an exposed x-ray of a human rib cage. The bones are smaller in proportion to the corset and mangled to illustrate the extreme measures we take for the sake of being beautiful. The bottom is embellished with a loosely crocheted and frilly fabric. A single rose is pinned to its centre.
The drawing is high-contrasted with soft blending to illuminate the differences in textures.
